About ThRSDB
Digitalization of rice molecular, genomics, and proteomics data has been a popularized area in the past few decades with the development of several databases worldwide. Recently, several researches have been conducted on rice starch from Thai domesticated cultivars and landraces. Our team at Khon Kaen University realizes that the digitized data of Thai rice starch – one of the most important commodities for not only Thailand economy, but also for other countries worldwide, is still missing. Thus, we have established the Thai Rice Starch Database (ThRSDB) project since October 2018. The main aim is to provide the rice starch community with a digitalized and searchable collection of essential Thai rice starch data from published researches, indexed in ISI, Scopus, and TCI journal servers. All data are freely accessible worldwide via user-friendly web pages.
Project Funding
The project is financially supported by the Research and Technology Transfer Affairs, Khon Kaen University. This work could not be completed without the seeding grant and support from the Salt Tolerant Rice Research Group, Faculty of Science, Khon Kaen University, as well as the Department of Biochemistry, Faculty of Science, Khon Kaen University.
